Have not received $10 store credit for preordering Battlefield 1

I preordered Battlefield 1 and was meant to receive a $10 credit after 10 days of the games release. It has now been almost 20 days and I have not yet received the credit code. Can you please review and email through?

I also paid $59.99 - even though I had an EA Access subscription. (The price should have been $53.99). Can you confirm if the difference can be refunded?

 

Hey MRJEKHL! The $10 dollar credit is only available through the Microsoft Store, we do not have access to their promotions here on the forums. Did you purchase it through the console or the Microsoft Store? Post back and let me know!

Ok - it seems this request for support has moved into the "too hard" basket...

I've already spent 4+ hours on chat with Microsoft support on this and am amazed how difficult it is to get ownership to get this issue resolved.

Really isn't worth the $10 gift card but is a matter of principle.

At this stage I'll just know now to not trust pre-order promises from the Microsoft store - and will be sure to tell my friends to avoid the same.

 

Make sure you speak to Microsoft Store support, not regular Microsoft support. Since the offer was done through them, they would be the ones to get you the code. Also keep in mind that if you are a rewards member, you would have receive 15,000 credits instead
of the $10 code.

They would also be the ones to offer any sort of refund on the EA Access discount, however I believe that is only valid on digital purchases made through the Xbox store.
