Have error 0x80070426 can't get into xbox store

I can log into xbox glass.

I just can't log into the xbox app or the xbox store app. I contacted Microsoft support on the telephone and they were unable to assist me.

I want to use my elite controller but can't download any apps.

My account is fine and it works with my xbox one.

Hi Frogh, What version of the app are you using? Are you also experiencing this issue using the Xbox App (Beta)? It's currently a newer version than the Xbox App (Non-beta). You can DL the beta version located here:
www.microsoft.com/.../9NBLGGH1J27H.

See if your able to reproduce this error...If the issue continues please use the "Report a problem" in the beta version. This will be a of great help for the developers to investigate.

Guys, I'm experiencing the same problem, with the same code, except this same code appears in other places, e.g. when trying to configure "Contacts" in my e-mail / configuring e-mail, etc.

What, actually, does this "multi-area" code "0x80070426" actually mean? And, how does one prevent this from restricting one's way forward here???

Chris, let's try some process ok?

Right click on the Start Menu icon

> Select Windows PowerShell (admin)

> On the screen that opens, type:

Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

(make sure you don't leave any spaces before or after the command) and press Enter

> Wait for the process to complete

> Restart your PC

> See if the problem persists

Go to your windows update and click on get updates

After updating

See which version is your windows this way, and tell me

The version consists of 4 digits

And then go to the Microsoft Store, select More > Downloads & updates > Get updates.

Update everything in both places, and let me know if it works
