    Have been sent a faulty controller for the second time.


    I have been playing with an elite v2 controller for about 7 months or so. When i first bought it - there was a slight drifting issue with one of the analogs sticks. I managed to deal with this for a few months but it became too much and sent it in for replacement. I spent the extra £25 to get it back faster than usual but then received another defective controller - this time with an issue with the other analog stick. The stick was catching on something when pushing it to one side. Annoyed at this I sent it in again. A few days later and i have now received a second defective controller. Two of the dpad buttons do not work. Im at a loss at what to do now as i am sick to death of receiving broken controllers. Is it possible to get a refund at this stage ?

    XB1 RB faulty?

    Hi Shinryu,

    There have been some faulty controllers sent out. Can you test the trigger in the menu or another game? If it's not functioning in those locations, then it's probably a bad controller. It's under warranty, so you can request a replacement at the link below.
    If you don't want to wait, and only have one controller I would suggest purchasing a second remote while you current one gets replaced.

    Refund service order instead of getting another replacement

    I did not activate the Microsoft warranty as it was out of warranty and I had to purchase the replacement controller that was sent to me. The controller is faulty and I want a refund of the replacement order and return the faulty controller sent to me

    Xbox One Elite controller broken for third time

    Tomorrow this controller is going to be sent to the technical repair center. Since I posted, it got broken the trigger. A kindly customer assistant has told me that every time a different controller has been sent, so I suppose not only one but three controllers
    were faulty. I am having the worst luck or there is many faulty controllers...

    Anyway, it seems like I will be out of warranty as many others of you. In the meantime the problem remains and is getting worse (two problems this time instead one): buttons and trigger.

    But I am wondering... if every time a different controller is sent, Don't you think that a warranty should be offer for this one? of course I am not asking for one entire year warranty, but when your car get broken and a piece is changed, the atelier gives
    you a some months warranty, don't they?

    Microsoft should think about caring their customers while they still have...

    Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Warranty

    I was Within I guess the three months time frame, and found on the website when I registered it that I had a little bit of time left, so I sent it in. The replacement they sent me back was faulty within one day, same issue with a joystick pointing up.
    After sending. Control back in, I finally got a control that has been lasting for a few days now. That warranty I think is good for 3 months, the replacement warranty. But I have no ability to extend the warranty.
