    Have anyone also problems with audio settings? (One X)


    My default settings are: -No HDMI audio (turned of Tv sound) -Optical audio Stereo (my sound system) -Headset Dolby Atmos (I own it)

    But whenever i start my Xbox they reset everytime to: -HDMI Stereo -No optical audio -Windows Sonic for Headset

    And when i put in my default settings and close the settings and immediately open it again then the settings are: -No HDMI -No optical audio (but I have sound) -Windows Sonic for headset

    Restart and reset the Xbox doesn't solve this problem.

    I have the same issue. HDMI from x box one to TV monitor LG No sound. And in the settings for audio it will not let me select hdmi audio, optical audio only. I have an optical cable connected to x boxing and tv optical in And still no sound.

    Hi there,

    In order to better diagnose the problem its best if we have an idea of your audio set up, what devices you have connected to the Xbox and TV, and what audio settings your speaker and headset is set to on the Xbox.

    You said you had this issue with two different headsets on your new Xbox One X correct? So the issue has to be narrowed down to console software or the cables used to connected your audio set up.

    Please let us know how you have your audio system set up and what your settings are set to on the Xbox.

    For anyone having this problem on Xbox, go to Settings -> Ease of Access -> Audio and then turn on mono output. That fixed the problem for me.

    We have this problem on xbox one x, the newest console for Microsoft. And I'll ask you to deal with this problem and add this audio format to the bitstream section


    You put it in the xbox one x console. Just in the blueray disc section. Why is it not possible to have sound in audio format in the bitstream section?
