    Have An Error Launching a Game


    Hey everyone,

    Gonna cut to the chase to spare you all from unnecessary details. I'm experiencing an issue once I launch any game, no matter the title. Although I would typically be greeted with the game's start menu, I continuously receive the error code 0x87e10804
    and I haven't found a solution yet! Restarting the console, attempting to use a different account, resetting the internet, waiting some time, all to no avail.

    Any solution would be greatly appreciated!

    when launching the game it say error 6.0 or assetfile23.pak xbox support did all there steps trouble shooting be still not launching

    Are you getting this error, when you launch a game? Because recently I was getting somewhat errors like you're describing. If you are getting this error while launching a game. Also if it is from launching a game (That is downloaded), most likely you get
    that error because the game you are trying to play isn't licensed to you. Or you sign out on a game that's not licensed to your console.

    Why does the Xbox app keep reinstalling my games, and why can't I get Rage 2 to read my existing saves after said reinstall?

    Error appears once game is installed and is launched a 2nd time. Works fine the first launch after install, but always errors out on the 2nd launch.

    I have the same problem. Each time I launch the game I get the 0x87DD0005 error code (on PC Game Pass). All other games launch just fine.
