    Resetting it via the parental controls bypass requires the console to be registered to your account via the devices services/management area. Being as its a preowned console and not connected to your account in any way yet. You may be better off factory
    resetting the console as a whole, giving it a fresh start.

    If you're unable to do so because of the parental lock on the system... I would recommend contacting Xbox Support about it.

    So, What's On The Purchase List?

    Kinda been looking for a cheap preowned Ultimate edition of Fallout New Vegas around the local game shops but not having much luck, a friend gave me a standard copy for free and have been playing that. Found Fallout 3 GOTY Xbox 360 for $20, a Copy of Dragon
    Age Origins Ultimate Edition PS3 for $20 and Dragon Age 2 PS3 for $14. For some reason good Xbox 360 preowned games are rarer to find here than Playstation preowned games. Just a guess but maybe the Xbox guys up here are reluctant to trade in there Xbox 360
    games where I live, maybe value there 360 games more as there is a ton of variety of cheap good value preowned Playstation games.
