I understand you bought a game on your old Xbox One in 2015 and have had it ever since. However, when I tried to play it today, I received a message that the game is not available. Based on what I found on the web, the game you purchased may no longer be available to you because it is only available through Game Pass. Although you purchased the game long before Game Pass existed, the game may have been removed from the Microsoft store. If you own all of the downloadable content, you may be able to redownload the game. However, if the game is no longer available on the Microsoft Store, you may not be able to download it again.

You can also restore licenses.
To restore game licenses on Xbox, follow these steps:

On your Xbox console, go to Settings and select Account.
Select Licenses and downloadable content.
Select Restore Licenses and follow the on-screen instructions.
