    Has Microsoft reintroduced the ability to request\suggest games for the xbox backwards...


    I was trying to find out if the backward compatibility suggestion box was open again now that the Series X has been launched?

    It is still one of my favorite features from Xbox and I would like to see it continue to grow if possible.

    Rockstars The Warriors would be a great add by the way.

    Hello @Vancealot! I hope everything is going well!

    A lot of games would indeed be excellent as Backward Compatible. I for one would love to see Rockstars The Warriors game Backward Compatible and I do think that the suggestion box was a great place to leave feedback, and I'd fully support seeing it return in the future. However, in general regarding backward compatibility, the best thing you can do is to reach out to the developers and publishers of the games to express your interest in seeing the games become backward compatible, and inquire if this might be in their plans.

    I don't think Microsoft and Xbox are currently working on that just yet. However, I believe a good feature to add to the new console could be the ability to request the option to submit games for backwards compatibility.

    The Xbox One will not be Backwards Compatible. The new system will only work with new games. It does not have the ability to play Xbox 360 games or original Xbox games nor can it play XBLA or other downloaded games. But Microsoft has announced that Xbox
    One might be backwards compatible in the coming future. Possible through the cloud.
