Has microsoft refused to scan their gaming servers for stolen device?

I filed a police report as its obviously step one. The detective said without camera footage or finding the device and calling them to the scene could they help. Other than flag it as stolen in case it ends up at a pawn shop. So I went back to Microsoft
and they gave me a link where you can see all the times your account attempted to login. I see my Xbox last tried to access my account in Chicago (I live in Indianapolis) I got an IP and gave that to the police to see what that may reveal. However,
Microsoft will not scan their network to see where it is how or to ban it in hopes someone then tries to sell it so it goes to pawn and returned or the person that bought Stolen goods can report the thief, in hopes they also get their money back too. I had
two factor authentication enabled. I had the consle associated to my android phone thinking I could see it go online via the app I kept checking and then Christmas Eve it was no longer showing in my app. I ask microsoft why? They said someone must have done
a hard reset and put a new account on it removing it from mine..say what?

with 2 factor authentication enabled I have to use the MSAuthenticator App to read my email armake a purchase. So why don't they require a person to Agree to console Admin changes? Why allow a hard reset to wipe out the local settings and make it
mandatory the original has to login first in order to add a family member or a new owner. They don't care because they assume you'll buy a new one and that's a win win for them. They get revenue from the thief buying games on your stolen device. Then your
new console use und future games purchases. I'm taking all this to Reddit and am going to force a change in how Microsoft responds to stolen devices. In the meantime I want to see how Sony handles this same problem. I have been loyal to MS and XBOX both for
over 20 years. You have lost one of your most loyal fans. If you do nothing to help correct this then you ARE part of the problem. Class Action may be needed to force it. SMH, enjoy your billions Gates earned off the backs of the working poor. Stop playing

So best buy messed up my order by scanning the wrong console and they refuse to fix the problem. So i walked out of the store having paid for the wrong xbox. And that xbox has problems and bb told me to take it up with microsoft.

That does seem unfair, is there anyway that these third party devices can be scanned for and stopped by some sort of software on a server or is that not a possibility?

This is an EA issue. EA flat out refuses to utilize the servers provided by Microsoft's Azure cloud-based platform and they use their own, even for your game saves. If you haven't noticed it by now, EVERY game that EA publishes generally has this kind
of problem.
