Has anyone’s “Play on Xbox” button stopped working on the Xbox app

My media remote has stopped working, but only in certain apps. It works fine otherwise but will not navigate: Youtube, Netflix or XBox fit. Anyone else?

This has just happened to me. I have an Xbox One and it's been working fine since I started playing remotely in January. It was fine yesterday. I went to play this afternoon and the button was missing from the app. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing worked so I decided to uninstall the app and start afresh. The app stops downloading at 130kb!

I'm hoping it's just a temporary problem that Microsoft are working on because it's really frustrating. I can play on the big TV but I prefer to remotely play on my PC.

I've u installed the Xbox app and also the Xbox accessories app. But this has not helped. To see if it makes any difference, I have opened up steam and it seems that the buttons are working fine on steam. However when I try to play ghost recon via ubisoft, the buttons are not working. Again only the analogue buttons move.

well, it sucks when they stop supporting app but it becomes more and more work for them to keep supporting app on the older consoles. twitch has stopped support on the Xbox 360 as well.

I see the grey bar but only on the second player, really annoying. Anyone have a work around? Is it a bug?

More annoying is the constant prompt for more players to join. Was trying to play with two players and the xbox kept displaying a message to press button for more to join. Anyone able to get the prompt to stop?
