Has anyone seen this menu before? I accessed it via Xbox settings app, but it seems fishy.

Check the sound, if there's no sound then you should:

1. remove and reinsert your A/V cables
2. set the TV to display the correct input (ex. HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Component 1, etc.)
   
3. set the HD AV cable to the correct setting (“TV” when using 3 prongs, “HDTV” when using 5)
   

You can also do a general reset of your display settings and can be used to simply reset your console back to its factory defaults.

1. If there is a disc in the console, remove it.
2. Turn off the console.
3. Turn on the console by using your controller. To do this, press and hold the controller's Xbox Guide button until your console turns on.
   
4. While the console is starting, press and hold the Y button and pull the right trigger at the same time. Continue holding the buttons when you see the Xbox 360 logo.
   

The console will restart and hopefully your video issue is fixed.

Note: If multiple controllers are connected to your console, make sure that you use the player one controller. You can recognize the player one controller because the upper-left quadrant of the Guide button is lit up on that controller.

@vd93 tried everything on the page and not had any luck.

@ the above post; tried that my friend done all the basics checked the connection tried various hdmi cables etc you name it ive done it.

So you are just seeing a black screen when you turn on your console? If so you can look to

this link for help. It helped me when I had the same problem (If I am reading correctly).

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but when the TV App is launched and playing, hit the Menu button and change the Display Mode to Stretch. I only had to do this once and now my TV App always launches with this setting set.

I am also having this same issue.

Xbox's are set to instant on.

I have even reserved their ip addresses.

Set my nighthawk router to open nat

app cannot find the Xboxes.

I was able to add them by powering both on and entering the ip I reserved for each and connect and stream successfully.

I CANNOT wake them up via the app

Router also shows them as attached devices but they will not respond to ping requests.

all are on the same router on a wired network in my house.

please help. seems to be a problem on the xbox side, it doesn't want to respond when sleeping, I have seen this before as sometimes apps will not update until it is "woken" up when I have it set to keep them up to date, its a hit or miss and each one acts
different about this.

Yep Same issue..has anyone founf a fix for this yet???
