Has anyone had this problem with three series x where it turns it self off mid game then...

So, I recently noticed that my Xbox Series X fan runs loud when playing Series X|S / Optimised for Series X|S games specifically.

It’s quite strange as it’s dead quiet every other time, but as soon as I start a Series X|S game, the fan becomes so loud that I need to turn up the tv volume.. it’s quite distracting.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

FYI - My Series X is a pre-order/launch day model.. and it sits in an open and well ventilated tv/entertainment stand*

In comparison, I owned an Xbox One S for three years and I never heard the fan on that.

I’m having the exact same problem now. The only time my Xbox sounds loud is when running series x enhanced games, it’s completely fine on old gen games. Have you had this issue fixed or is it still a problem now?

Just wondering if anyone has had it where a game wouldn't start properly or where the console doesn't turn off properly.

I had the same / similar issue with my old 4K 60hz none HDR / HDMI 2.0 monitor when watching movies and some times in games with the Series X,

As soon as i upgraded my monitor to a 4K 144hz monitor that has HDR / HDMI 2.1 ports, i no longer had this problem,

I'm not sure what the problem is, but my guess is that the HDMI 2.1 port on Series X doesn't play well with HDMI 2.0 port of monitors, or it's the Series X trying to force HDR on, even if the monitor does not have / support HDR and the HDR in Series X menu's is turned off.

ok, so you think you are disadvantaged playing against pc players, what about those on xbox one playing against those on series x, you have better performance, higher frame rates, they better make it so they can also turn off crossplay with series x too and series s as even that has better performance than xbox one but not as good as series x so they should wall all three versions off.

don't say oh it's keyboard and mouse as people use them on consoles too.

Yes, I had the background download feature switched to on. When I have it switched on, it only has that green flashing light on for just three seconds then it completely turns off to where it stops the download. When the background download feature is off,
after turning it off it just turns off completely.
