Mic echo could be related to multiple variables. It could be your controller, your headset/mic setup, or even your TV volume being too loud. I would say most of the time, I would ask my friends with echo to turn down their headset master volume and they
would be able to fix it pretty quickly. You could even just unplug and replug your headset to fix the issue. It's hard to say exactly what would cause it considering theres multiple angles to fix it. I have a HyperX Stinger headset and I rarely have a mic
echo problem. I would also suggest to check our the reviews on your headset to see if that is a common problem.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)

I would assume this to be a mic/headset problem. Maybe try a different headset and see if that fixes the issue.

My Series X had the same exact issue, a few solutions is to see if your local pc repair shop can fix it. Another would be if u got warranty on it u can maybe see if they can fix it. Bestbuy (Geeksquad,CPR, Microsoft)

Forgive me if I missed this, but I don't see where you've posted about trying multiple mics. Have you tested this with different headsets and or adapters? Usually if you create a party by yourself and see no mic light up its a sign of hardware issue with
the headset. Not always the case, but often it is.
