Has anyone had their controllers disconnect mid-game? My fully charged Elite V2 lost...

I have this same problem and it has nothing to do with the power saving features. I can be playing a game, controller in hand and the pad will disconnect. Fully charged battery etc.

I've seen the suggestion of using the charge cable "to improve connectivity" but what is the point in buying a wireless controller only to have to use the charge cable to use it? It defeats the purpose of a wireless controller!

Some games are worse than others but all games do it.

I wasted money buying the elite controller in the hope that it would fix the issue but it hasn't. I am very fed up, this issue has existed since my day one console and still exists on my elite console. Bad show!

The differences are minmal to say the least, However, I'd say it's just luck but my controller has stopped random disconnects and haven't had any mid-game dash attacks,,, yet

I don't play hard or competitively. Just google Elite controller v2 issues and view the results - its staggering.

However, I have no problem going online to let everyone know to avoid this controller like COVID.

Update:

Switched to my 39.00 Afterglow controller that Ive had for 4 years, The fact that the 39.00 Afterglow has out-performed the 300.00 elite v2 is pathetic on so many levels...

Edit 2 (I can't actually edit my post): I removed the battery pack and placed it in my old controller, and it shows as fully charged. When replaced back into the elite, it shows as fully charged.

No one else has issues with a headset stopping the controller from working? It will actually disconnect and say, to reconnect controller while playing. Batteries are charged fully.
