2 different TVs: different brands, different ages, different HDMI cables

It was definitely the Xbox. Don't give me low power through HDMI talk. Controller boards are lower power as well.

Different games were being actively played when the TVs stopped working. They just suddenly went out. Power boards of the TV's still work.

    :)

Hello TimGraff1, My name is Khaji I am the independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

While it is possible for electronics to experience issues or failures, it would be highly unusual for the Xbox Series S console to directly cause the controller boards of two different TVs to burn out. The HDMI connection between the Xbox and the TV is designed to transmit audio and video signals, and it typically does not have the capability to cause damage to the TV's internal components.

There could be other factors or coincidences at play that are leading to the issues with your TVs. It's important to consider other potential causes such as faulty HDMI cables, power surges, or issues with the TVs themselves. Additionally, it's worth noting that the Xbox Series S is designed to comply with industry standards and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure compatibility and prevent damage to connected devices.

If you're experiencing consistent issues with multiple TVs when using the Xbox Series S, it may be worth reaching contacting the TV manufacturers for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance based on your setup and help troubleshoot the issue.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us again.

This was a standard answer to the question and you didn't read it in it's entirety or possibly unstand it. I know for a fact that the Xbox caused the issues. Try the legal responses for someone else. Any more answers best keep in mind that they are dealing with an EE.

My Xbox isn't outputting any signals.

Now when you say your xbox one's light turns on do you mean the light on your controller?

Or do you mean the light on the front of the console because if your power was unplugged there should not of been a light on the console but the controller light would turn on because it has its own power source (the batteries).

Now to get to your issue at hand.

No signal on the tv could mean a few different things.

    1. TV is on the wrong input. Make sure the TV is on the right input.

    2. HDMI cable coming out of the back of the Xbox is in the wrong port. There are Two HDMI ports in the back of the XBOXs one is an in from cable box or any other HDMI device and one is an out to TV so you want to make sure you have it coming out of the out
    to TV HDMI port.

If these two do not fix the problem If you can try a different HDMI port on the TV, Try a different TV, Try the HDMI cable on a different device to see if you are getting the same problem. Just trying to make sure it is a XBOX issue and not something else
    going on.

    1 tv 2 xboxes

It would depend on your TV how that is able to display the image of two different sources.

There had been experiments with 3D capable TVs and their shutter glasses, where the TV "flickers" the signal from two different inputs in sync with the 3D glasses, so one person sees their screen and the other person sees their own screen.

However, in that case you'd know that your TV can do that, and you wouldn't ask here 😉

Or if your TV can do Picture in Picture, a person can play with a large picture, while the other person has to live with a small preview picture in the corner. But that's hardly convenient.

However, the Xbox One is able to stream to a Windows 10 PC or laptop with the Xbox App. That way one person can play on the TV, while the other person gets the video feed of the console on their PC, and remote-controls the console through their controller
    connected to the PC.

But to display the video from two different consoles on one screen is a function your TV needs to have. Not the console.

    LED/LCD TV help!
The chances that an LCD will burn-in are about the same as the image of your face burning-in to your bathroom mirror. It ain't gonna happen, as LCD can't burn-in.
In theory this is 100% correct, but I have seen differently in
some real world cases. I once had to service a customer's TV after they complained about "ghost images" on their LCD. Needless to say I was skeptical, but sure enough when I examined the display that was the issue, or something resembling the same effects.
It was a LG LCD from maybe 18 months ago. It would retain a ghost image of something displayed on the screen for just seconds even (e.g. a TV guide). Now that display was defective, but it isn't entirely true to say that LCDs cannot suffer from burn-in.

As an aside, it seems that the OP has abandoned this thread so I'm not sure that this or future posts will be of any use. :S
