Has anyone had an issue playing Black ops 1 on xbox one?

Ive recently repurchased the game to play with friends, every time I load up the game I get an error message saying “ Call of duty servers unavailable at this time, please try again later or go to www.callofduty.com/blackops for updates”. Ive tried everything I can think of from resetting my xbox, router and even tried on another xbox. I even ran some tests with microsoft nothing seems to work. Its not a problem with my internet because I have no issues with BO2 or WaW. My friends can get on the game fine. Im not sure if anyone has had this problem and has a solution. My next thing ill try as a last resort is create a new account just to play this game. Let me know if anyone has an answer that I can try.

Black Ops had an outage earlier. The Xbox status page said they were working on it. It now states everything is up and running. So the game should be working fine now. If it isn't try restarting the game again and try playing online. If that doesn't work, then contacting Treyarch or Activision would be your best bet to get your issue fixed.

Its unfortunately been an issue ive been trying to resolve for a few weeks and has nothing to do with the outage. Thanks for the feedback though. I see theres solutions for pc on youtube but haven’t found anything for xbox one.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with playing Call of Duty Black Ops 1 online.

I have not found any information on whether or not the servers have been shut down. However, Black Ops 1 is fairly old title. If you are able to begin a search for an online game and not finding one, there may not be anyone else playing.

If you are unable to access the multiplayer servers, then you will want to do a hard reset on your xbox. This link will help walk you through

@stillmaticd Yes i meant Black Ops 1. wish I had read this before I got the invite. I would not have accepted. Looking for people to play the game with my personal life has all I need. @LagCompensation-no did not pirate anything, meant Black Ops 1
