Has anyone had a problem like this? Xbox one x and halo infinite problem

I updated my xbox one x then it showed halo infinite needed an update, got suck on "finishing some things" all of the sudden it closed. I relaunched the game now its treating it as a fresh install. 5, dang, hour eta. I'm a stay at home dad and this is my only day to relax and game. Way to go Microsoft

You can enable auto,stic updates to keep your games up to date. This will not prevent updates, but greatly reduce this issue

If major changes have been. made, it often requires a full re-download.

I can suggest you play via the cloud which would allow nearly instant access, and then let it download overnight.

to add, if the update is cancelled or it fails then it wipes the games and redownloads the lot.

This is exactly whats happening to me while playing Infinite, did you ever get your problem fixed?

I don't know if it's just halo infinite, but that is all I played. I sent in my xbox series x to get a repair and they sent me new or refurbished one. It was another halo edition series x with a different serial number.

MW3 has disc read errors a lot. I have my copy saved to my hard drive, and I still get disc read errors. Not sure how to fix it.
