    Has anyone found an effective way to download xbox captures onto their PC?


    I have a lot of captures recorded on my Xbox Series X and i’d like to get them on my PC for a video, after downloading the xbox app onto my PC i soon realised that there was still no way for me to download the captures directly. Does anyone know a better way to get all your captures on PC without having to download them on the phone and then moving them through Google Drive?

    What I do is capture my game with Xbox capture . Then Go to my captures on xbox app or xbox.com. Download them to my pc and edit them then put them on youtube . Easy way to by pass everything complicated.

    Missing xbox-app recordings from xbox-live

    No problem, what I found to be the easiest solution, (while it does involve more steps) is get a external USB drive, as large as you can afford to spend, have stuff upload to xbox live, and download all the captures onto the external as back-up, that way
    all the ones in xbox live remain, and the if they get deleted you still have all of them

    Xbox Console Companion won't connect to Facebook

    I had the same issue, but found a way around it.

    I unlinked Facebook completely on the Xbox companion app on my PC.

    I then downloaded the Xbox app onto my phone and connected it using the phone app. it connected fine and the Xbox companion app on my pc then updated with my Facebook linked to it with no further problems. works fine now

    The best way to keep those clips is, install the Xbox app on your laptop or pc. Then on your console go to your captures and upload them to one drive and upload them to live. Then go to the Xbox app on pc or laptop click on the captures and scroll through
    what is live and download the clips to your pc or laptop in a file.

    I also activated my UE on XBox.com last night - it has successfully downloaded onto my XBox but I cannot find a link to download it onto my PC. (Windows 10 / 1607).
