Has anyone else got banned for something that isnt offensive and was posted a year ago

The thing is i haven’t really said anything to anyone the prior weeks and i know i havent used offensive language or anything like that until 2 nights ago when me and this player went back and forth and i know i only said one word. So i doubt that i got
communication banned for something else from a few weeks ago. And i even have a screen shot of him saying “i thought you were banned, let me try something again” and after i received that message within minutes i got a message from xbox live

i can't use my xbox live in my console because get banned console ,, i sweer i did nothing wrong all this years I'm using it

Is there anyone else who uses/has access to your console that couldve done something?

Consoles bans are reserved for the worst/repeated offenses and they cant be appealed so they arent issued lightly and are only given after a thorough investigation.

Jamie that support stuff on your link was broken 3 months ago and has got progressively worse, it doesn't help anyone now.

Everyone it says perm ban because xbox is broke atm.

They really shouldn't ban anyone atm because their software isnt working.

Guys prob just a 1/3/7 day ban ..

If my gamertag was offensive you should have banned it when I made it 5 years ago in 2011.

If my gamertag was offensive the second Rolf Harris got convicted in july 2014 you should have banned it then.

To wait to 2016 and ban my gamertag for people offensive then have the audacity to say I have to pay out of my own pocket to change my gamertag, you won't even give me a free gamertag change.
