Based on what you described, these issues can be caused by various factors, such as software glitches, hardware defects, or environmental conditions.



To troubleshoot these issues, please follow the steps below:



- Make sure your console is updated to the latest system software. You can check for updates in Settings > System > Updates & downloads.

- Restart your console by holding the Xbox button on the controller and selecting Restart console.

- Clear the cache of your console by unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

- Check the ventilation of your console and make sure it is not blocked by any objects or dust. Place your console in a cool and well-ventilated area.

- Avoid placing your console near other heat sources, such as radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight.

hardware manufacturers work hdd space out as 1000GB = 1TB - software does not, software works as follows.

1024KB = 1MB - 1024MB = 1GB - 1024GB = 1TB

So the usable space on any new 1TB hdd after formatting is about 931GB then you have to exclude system files and reserved space that the xbox system uses. in that reserved space is updates, recordings, screenshots, temp files etc etc.

this is the same for ANY system that uses a HDD/SSD. be it consoles or pc or any other device out there.

take for example my 4TB SSD in my PC after formatting i get a useable space of 3.638TB.

the same is for phone storage too.

so what you are seeing is normal, yes it is a bit shady but has been like this forever. technically they are not wrong, it does indeed have a 1TB hdd in, but i think it is about time they show the correct amount useable once formatted and OS, reserved space is used.

By this time though it is now common knowledge as has been this way for decades.

I've fixed it. For anyone else with this issue you have to go into video settings and change the output from 'auto' to 'HDMI'.

When I try to snap the new Netflix while I'm playing a game the netflix stream freezes. The sound still plays but the video freezes. Anyone else having this problem??
