Has any one had success played Starfield using an XBox1 and Cloud Gaming?

I have a very good Internet connection but the only way for an XBox1er to play Starfield is through Cloud Gaming. Current connection is better than 35Mbps upload and 110Mbps download; plenty of space on the inbuilt and external drives

I get heavily pixellated screens with registration issues i.e. fixed target points move while the screen refreshes is it worth continuing?

    :)

It's been terrible at times. I have fiber internet 528 Mbps Down/ 530 Mbps Up with a 2 ms Ping. Probably doesn't matter how good your internet is. It's especially bad in the day, but that doesn't mean it's smooth sailing at night. It's just a little better. Besides playing on an Xbox One S, I play on an M1 Macbook Air. It's slightly better on the Mac. When it's good, I'm having fun, but the lag, and getting dropped from the server so often, can be frustrating.

    Hi Car.Tzy

I have Full Fibre to the house and ethernet cable between router and XBox1.

Ensured I have the Xbox Cloud version selected from the game library.

Current Xbox1 stats: Download @ 150MBPS; Upload @ 29 MBPS 0% loss with and MTU @1480 and the latency is 28mS. So better than the minimums.

Not sure which Xbox you're using but that command sequence "Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories > Xbox Wireless Controller > Configure > Cloud Gaming Region" doesn't exist on my Xbox1 running OS ver 10.0.25398.1762? No "Accessories" under "Devices".

All movements of my character results in screen refreshes. I have a series of captures on the Xbox how do I share them?

    Thanks

    Hello Kelthammer,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I can see that you are experiencing issues with cloud gaming on your Xbox One. There are a few possible reasons why your screen may be pixelated or have registration issues, such as network latency, server load, or game settings. Here are some steps you can try to improve your cloud gaming experience:

    - Check your network speed and latency on your Xbox One. Go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics. The recommended speed for cloud gaming is at least 10 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload, and the recommended latency is less than 90 ms. If your speed or latency is lower than the recommended values, you may need to contact your internet service provider or upgrade your plan.

    - Try playing at a different time of day or on a different server. Cloud gaming performance may vary depending on the demand and availability of the servers. You can change your server location by going to Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories > Xbox Wireless Controller > Configure > Cloud Gaming Region. Choose the region that is closest to you or has the lowest latency.

    - Adjust your game settings. Some games may have options to change the graphics quality, resolution, or frame rate. Lowering these settings may improve your cloud gaming performance and reduce pixelation or lag. You can access these settings from the game's main menu or pause menu.

    - Restart your Xbox One and router. Sometimes, a simple reboot can fix some network issues and improve your cloud gaming experience. To restart your Xbox One, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller, select Restart console, and then select Restart. To restart your router, unplug it from the power source, wait for 10 seconds, and then plug it back in.

I was playing Starfield about an hour ago. And now it's unplayable or unlaunchable, at least on cloud gaming for me. So I'm going to assume that cloud gaming has crashed? Fortnite is the only one for me too.
