Harmony remote compatibility with Blu Ray app after February update

I have dedicated buttons for View/Menu on my Harmony One remote. After the recent update in February, I noticed my View/Menu buttons no longer worked in the Blu Ray app. Using the same remote, the buttons still work as expected on the home screen so it's
not like the View/Menu commands simply stopped working altogether, just in the Blu Ray app. I've heard others mention similar problems when trying to control TV. The XB1 controller still works just fine in regard to View/Menu in the Blu Ray app.

I tried removing the device in the Logitech software and re-adding as others have done who had Power On/Off issues, but no luck. With recent news of a media remote, I'm wondering if this recent update had something in it that affected those commands from
non-XB1 accessories in the media apps?

Edit: to clarify, I'm referring to the update around Valentine's Day -- not the 2/19 or 2/20 one that fixed issues playing discs

Xbox One "media remotes"

You can configure a Logitech Harmony 650 remote (and likely any of the other Harmony remotes) to control the XBox One. I use mine at home to control mine for watching Netflix, Hulu, Blu-Ray disks, etc.

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.

 

Everything on my Harmony One works great with the exception of the remote not being able to use the VIEW and MENU commands in the Bluray app.

As you mentioned before Captain, the commands on the Harmony work fine everywhere else except for the Bluray side of things. Hope a fix comes soon.

 

It seems that even Logitech has stopped responding on their official thread and I can't get any info from MS about it. My conspiracy theory is MS broke these commands purposefully to push the sale of their official media remote. It's too coincidental that
the update to enable their own remote also broke third party remotes.
