    Hardwired and still behind cone NAT. This is a nightmare'ish.


    So I'll try to make this short. I am on an older XboxOne. I recently moved and in doing so had to update my modem and router though Spectrum cable/internet. It never had a problem connecting at my old place with an older modem/router and worked great just
    through WiFi. Now I can not play any game online for more than 4 minutes without being disconnected. I am now hardwired into my router, something I read would remedy this problem, but nothing has been fixed and the issue still persists, if not made worse.

    My NAT type is open, but it is behind a cone NAT. I have read that I need to connect my laptop to my modem to download new firmware, that is not possible. I have read that I need to change ports, but only one port listed in other posts shows up (3074) When
    trying to do the manual port selection I am given these port numbers: 3074; 52455; 52684; 52913; 53142, 53371.

    I have tried going WiFi, and still I get kicked. Hardwired, I get kicked. Reset modem, router, Xbox and I'm still behind a cone NAT and unable to play.



    Why can't they just make it any easy plug and play set up? I didn't know I needed a bachelors degree in computer programming just so I could play GTA.

    Is your NAT open? If it is then it might be that your mic , how do you know it's not? when looking at the party and you talk, does your icon light up like it's picking up audio, do you have a Kinect?

    Yes my NAT is open, and yes the icon lights up, i've also tried it with kinect and the same thing happens, so i know it's not the mic.

    Cox cable is my internet provider. There is a UPnP enable disable option in the Cisco web interface. It is not enabled.

    Switching to wireless most likely resulted in your Xbox One getting a new LAN IP, which broke the port forwards you set up for the previous IP assigned to the wired interface. Who is your ISP? Is the UPnP option visible and configurable in the Cisco's web
    interface? Is it enabled?
