    Hardwire connection issue but not wireless..


    While being part of the top tier Alpha bracket. Has anyone have internet hardwire issues and no issue with wireless working? The wired connection is working with a third xbox that is not part of the program but other two xboxs are in program and both are having hardwire issues...

    i have uverse in St.Louis, and have great connections. I hardwire it from Xbox straight into the modem, didnt want to have wireless issues. Are you hardwired right into the modem or using a wireless connection/

    Wireless/Hardwired Connection

    You won't necessarily get a better ping time when switching to wired as your connection is still at the same number of hops. The wired connection will be better performance wise because it won't be subjected to wireless interferance from other WiFi devices
    which can reduce your available throughput on the WiFi channel.

    Try restarting your router and clearing your xbox cache. When I swapped from wireless to hardwired the difference was quite significant.
