    My xbox is saying " your router or modem may be set up to filter out some devices. Make sure your router or modem is not filtering out your consoles mac address.

    How do i make in un-filter out please need help bug problem (UK) xbox user

    Hey there -

    Does resetting your router alleviate this problem by any chance? If not, what does your home network set up look like and are you playing over Wi-Fi or Ethernet? If Wi-Fi, can you try connecting via Ethernet cable to see what happens please?

    It could be a configuration on your modem/router, you can try to hard reset it, most routers have a small button to reset, push and hold for about 30 seconds.

    can you help me figure out if my router is filtering Mac addresses?

    go to settings on ur xbox then advanced settings click on alternate Mac address and hit clear. It’ll reset and then it’ll connect
