'Hardware Problem' message when I try to connect to wifi

Last week in the midst of playing a game on my Xbox One, I got kicked off my WiFi and since then I haven't been able to get back on it. When I try try to run a test connection it tells me it's not connected (obviously) but also says I have a hardware problem.
Has anyone had this issue? What's wrong with my Xbox and what hardware problem could be doing this

    :)

Try to go to SETTINGS, then SYSTEM, then CONSOLE INFO , last is CONSOLE RESET, after that pick option to KEEP ALL GAMES and APPS. After console will RESTART. After that - do the SET UP and then test

    Hey dawn

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with connecting to Xbox Live.

When the console states "Hardware problem" it may not necessarily be your console that it is referring to, but you "Network hardware".

In this instance, I would recommend testing out an alternate network, or if you are using wireless connection, test your network using a wired connection [or vice-versa depending on your connection].

If this is not an option, I would recommend using the
Xbox One Connection and Network Solution
wizard and see if some of the troubleshooting techniques depicted here work for you.

Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

The first thing to try is power down your console and power cycle your network gateway and wait... until the gateway is fully functional before turning the console back on.

Also a wired ethernet cable connection is superior to WiFi, where you might experience signal interference, causing a loss of network connectivity.

Hardware problem when connecting to WiFi Network

    Hello Spike,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We are sorry for the issue with the error. When this error occurs, it most likely means there is faulty hardware in the console. In this case could be the WIFI in the console. Have you tried connecting with a ethernet
cable? If unable to, you will most likely need a repair which you can set up on
    device support.

    Thanks,

    Brad
