    Hardware failure fortnite crashing.


    Ever since I started playing fortnite, the game keeps crashing every so often when I'm in the game (match). In lobby doesn't crash at all.I contacted the people at epic and they told me to contact microsoft support.

    The Epic Support should have helped you since it's an issue with their launcher, not sure why they didn't.

    Please, use the System Requirements Lab website to ascertain if your hardware meets the game requirements.

    Are you playing via the Epic Launcher or XCloud?

    Have you tried to run a system scan?

    Open the Terminal window by pressing the Windows Key + X and Select "Open Powershell as Administrator".

    Type this command: sfc /scannow

    Press Enter.

    If any error is found, they will be patched.

    Then use the DISM command.

    Open the Terminal window by pressing the Windows Key + X and Select "Open Powershell as Administrator".

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Restart you PC.

    If that still does not work, please, do a clean boot and test the app.

    Press Windows Key + R > Type msconfig > Select Services > Check the box Hide all Microsoft Services > Select Deactivate All.

    Restart your computer.

    I play on PC and I only get an error message that says : "Fortnite has crashed. We're very sorry this happened and we are working towards preventing it in the future. You can get help online at Fortnite Technical Support."
