    Hi, sorry for english (i don' use translator) i have a question for expert people or engineering microsoft.

    Why if i put an hard disk usb external (usb 3.0) and power on xbox one s, the wifi does not works?

    If i remove hard disk and check connection wifi the consolle wifi works.

    I try all port usb. I do this several time. The wifi works properly only wihout external hard disk.

    Can help me?

    Thank you. No, i did not reset. I will read the instructions....i have little fear to lose my date, my game progress, xbox 360 games ecc :/

    I bought consolle in October 2019.

    You won't lose progress or games or anything since saves are stored online if you played online. :)

    Hi, it is a western digital passport 2 tb usb 3.0. Xbox one s formated it when i put into.

    The next day I power on consolle for play and no connection.

    Mmm very strange i thinked. I reset router, change ssid, Power off router for 10 minutes, use other wifi, take off password , use reserved ip andress. Nothing...only with cable. So i take off hard disk, restart and wifi is perfect on line. I don't know.
