HAPPY WARS - UNABLE TO PLAY, MY SCREEN GOES BLACK! - AUDIO AND NAVIGATION STILL FUNCTION

I am unable to play Happy Wars. The game initially loads and functions as normal, but as soon as I reach the "home" screen my TV goes black. I can still hear the audio, and navigate the page, but I can't see anything. If I press the guide button on my Xbox
controller the guide pop up menu appears, and I can see Happy Wars in the background. As soon as I close the guide my screen goes black again. I have cleared the cache... deleted and re-downloaded the game multiple times... and it still does it every time.
It has been like this for months actually, it used to be my and my son's favorite game but after not being able to fix this I have just kind of given up on it. But it would be really nice to actually be able to play the game again.... I called Xbox support
and they were no help at all...couldn't even give me any sort of reason as to why it would be doing this... Please Help!

I have the same problem which happens while i play Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. The screen goes black, but i can hear audio. i can also hear the navigation when pressing the home buttom and moving the pointer around. I had to reboot to get it back
to normal. I have the April update.

Xbox screen locks up but can still hear sound?

Does your Dashboard button still work (bring up the navigation blade or just progress the audio) when the screen locks up. This should show if the console is locked or the game is locked up.

Try playing it with a different profile if it happens n the others profile too its game problem if it doesnt happens with the other profile then its ur main profile problem

Hello Triman, from what we know the volume differences are fixed on the console, including these nuances serve to you to be able to distinguish what is running without sometimes looking at the screen of the TV or monitor.

In the Xbox menu under "Settings" after Audio, it only gives you the option to turn off navigation or menu sounds.

Check "Settings" "General" and then output "Audio and Volume" if the audio output option is in Stereo "Uncompressed Stereo".

If you are in DTS or Dolby you may be suppressing certain frequencies.

Has there been any update to this issue? I am having the same exact problem with the new official Xbox Wireless Headphones.

Its really bad when playing Gears of War 5 with all the cutscenes every few minutes. It just stops playing audio, cuts in and out, repeatedly. Audio goes out of sync during cutscenes, too, like a bad chinese kung fu movie with horrible dubbing. The game audio outside of cutscenes goes back to normal.

Navigating system menus also generates a lot of audio distortion!

Doesn't matter if I use the Windows Sonic profile, Dolby Atmos profile, etc.

I updated headset firmware, I am running the latest Series X firmware, etc. Etc. None of that fixed it.

Anyone have any ideas on if/when this will be fixed??
