Halo won't install.

Discus and support Halo won't install. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Halo won't re-install! I get error "Administrator approval needed" and it won't install.     Halo won't install.


    Halo won't re-install! I get error "Administrator approval needed" and it won't install. I am the Administrator.

    Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

    Please try the following:

    - Start ---> Run "shell:AppsFolder"

    This will open the hidden app folder inside Windows.

    Once that folder is open, find the Xbox app inside it and place the app into the Windows taskbar.

    - Hold CTRL+SHIFT and click on the Xbox icon you just moved to the taskbar to start the Xbox app in administrator mode.

    You should be able to install the game you want with no further issue

    Halo reach it's a complement for the master chief collection game, it won't give you a option to where to install, will be installed on the game installation path only, in this case Halo MCC game

    Full games like Sea of thieves will give the option because it's a game not a complement

    Always you installing to an internal or external drive? If it is the later, Can you unplug your external hard drive. Then do this

    - Go to Settings > System > Storage.

    - On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games.

    - Restart your console

    Afterwards try installing the game to the internal drive. Don't plug the external drive yet. If you don't have space on the internal, move some games to the external first before you begin.
