Halo Wars error when trying to install

Whenever I try to install Halo wars on either the xbox app or the microsoft store using the PC game pass, it comes up with an error code 0x803f800e. Been happening for a few days now. Other games such as void bastards and state of decay 2 work fine.

A quick google shows other users have this as well. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or how to report this as an error.

Error 0x803f8001 will consequently happen for a situation where the Xbox Live service is ceased.
Beginning the administration effectively settle the issue.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to tackle this kind of installation problem.

I can totally understand how getting an error when you're trying to play this cool halo title could be disheartening.

If you haven't already, then I would definitely try the steps outlined in our Troubleshoot game installations on Windows 10.

When you get a chance, try those steps out and let us know how that helped.

This error seems to be linked to the microsoft servers not receiving some information and there is a few things I would like you to try please.

1. Is your computer showing the correct date/time as this can cause Xbox services not to work correctly.

(Right click on your clock at bottom right), adjust date/time, make sure your timezone is correct then click set time to automatically and also time zone.

2. Remove Xbox profile and then add it back again and give that a try.

I've tried everything on the list and also tried this workaround I found on the Microsoft Forums:

Sadly, none of these have worked. I really do believe this is not a user error and some error to do with Halo Wars: Definitive Edition not actually being a part of the Games Pass. I believe this is the case because when you go to the Microsoft Store page
for Halo Wars, the install button is replaced with "Included with Xbox Games Pass for Console", then prompting me to get the Xbox Games Pass for Console.

Even though the game is listed as being part of the PC games pass, it seems as though no license can be granted for those users.

Is there some way I can submit this bug as a report to be reviewed by someone with the ability to test amend this?
