Halo Wars Definitive Edition

January 25th I digitally pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 on the Xbox store. The xbox website referring to the games pre-order bundles (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-titles/halo-wars-2-preorder)
shows that I should be receiving the Halo Wars Definitive Edition code after 7-10 days. However, it has been long past that waiting period and I'm still currently waiting for the code. I've contacted support multiple times on this issue and they each told
me that I would receive the code in a few hours, then was told to just keep waiting, and then finally to come here to try and resolve the issue. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

my halo wars definitive edition does not download and asks me to re purchase halo wars 2 please send me my code for me to get halo wars definitive edition.

Please make sure the original transaction for Halo Wars 2 fully went through. You can verify your transactions over on
account.microsoft.com, if the pre-order just occurred you'll need to wait the full 7-10 days until you receivd a code.

Halo Wars 2 is sitting on my PC, waiting for my Halo Wars DE code to arrive, It still puzzles me as to why we have to wait for a code for an item we bought already. I understand it's not to cause undue stress on your servers but the stress on the consumers
is not good for your business in the long run.

The code I was referring too was the code for the Halo Wars Definitive Edition.

To jump in on what Miss Bijoux is saying, the description of
Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition also clearly states that it can take 7-10 days before you get your code after pre-ordering (emphasis my own below). Sometimes you'll notice that there's a delay, but they tend to be really good about sending those out. Phone
and chat cannot help you until you've waited that time frame because it's a legal thing. Also, note that Halo Wars Definitive Edition
only comes with the Ultimate Edition pre-order, not the regular pre-order.
