    Halo: Titanfall edition ! ( ms should buy/incorporate titanfall into the halo franchise )


    I'm trying to drum up some interest in idea that Microsoft should buy titanfall and release a standalone version similar to the halo wars edition... Anyone that played halo 4 remember the Spartan episode, where you fight in mechs ( against ) with other mechs
    against ships... I played that episode over and over which lead me to think it would be possible to pull of a new separate Halo franchise.... You can also sign a petition at change.org

    MS seem to be putting all its eggs into the Titanfall basket, buy what would happen if Titanfall was a failure.

    not necessarily. We don't know for sure. If titanfall is a big hit, whats to stop MS from buying the franchise or respawn itself and keeping it an exclsuive? Thats what they did with halo, gears, etc.

    [/quote]I can't tell the future either, but as it stands today assuming partnerships stay the same, it will appears EA will do the same as they did with the Mass Effect franchise. That's what I was referring to. Yes MS can choose to buy the whole IP and/or
    Respawn, which could change the whole landscape of things.

    As for EA not having a say, MS stated back in E3 that they have inked an extensive partnership with EA. Plus MS revealed that they are investing 1 billion into games for the One, I don't think EA was doing something that they didn't want to. I think, and
    again this is me, that EA and MS came to a monetary agreement (obviously) and Titanfall is one of those titles in this partnership that both companies are a part of.
