Get ready for the greatest event in Halo history! We are excited to announce Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which includes the entire story of the Master Chief for the first time on the Xbox One console. With the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection
on the horizon, we wanted to make sure to provide you with as much helpful information as possible.

We will update this FAQ when more information becomes available, so be sure to check back for future updates!

Q: Where can I purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection?

A: Halo The Master Chief Collection is available for Pre-Download from the Xbox One
Store , and Pre-Order from the Microsoft Store as well as participating retailers.

Q: What versions of Halo: The Master Chief Collection are available for purchase?

A: There is only one version available to purchase, which can be purchased digitally or in a physical disc.

Q: What’s included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection?

A: Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes the following:

• Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
• Halo 2: Anniversary
• Halo 3
• Halo 4

Plus access to the following:

• Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta
• Halo Nightfall: the live-action digital series
  

Q: What retailer specific Pre-Order bonuses are available?

A: Different retailers and regions will have specific Skull unlocks. Check below to see which retailers will include the following skull unlocks:

Q: How do I use the Skull?

A: Skulls can be activated in the campaign mode before in you start the mission. Pre-order skulls are only unlocked for the campaign in Halo 2 Anniversary.

Q: I didn't pre-order the game. Will I ever be able to access these skulls in the future?

A: All the pre-order skulls are exclusive until 12/12/2014. The Feather Skull is exclusive until 3/21/2015.

Q: How much space will I need to install Halo: The Master Chief Collection?

A: Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be around 45 GB and will require a content update at launch that is estimated to be around 20GB.

Q: How many multiplayer maps will be available in the game?

A: Over 100 multiplayer maps.

Q: How many campaign missions will be in the Master Chief Collection?

A: You will be able to play 45 campaign missions.

Q: Do I have to purchase the physical version of the game to get access to the Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta?

A: You will receive access to the multiplayer beta if you purchase the physical or the digital version of the game.

Q: When does the Halo 5 beta start?

A: The Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta will available on December 29, 2014 and will end on January 18th 2015.

Q: What is Halo: Nightfall?

A: Halo: Nightfall is a 5 episode live action series that provides insight into the origin and the backstory of legendary manhunter Agent Locke ( Mike Colter), a pivotal new character in the Halo universe who will play a key role in Halo 5: Guardians.

Q: How can I watch Halo: Nightfall episodes?

A: You will need to download the Halo Channel for either your Xbox One or Windows 8.1 device. The live-action series will be streaming only and episodes will release on a weekly basis.

Q: What is the Halo Channel?

A: The Halo Channel is an interactive digital network that provides personalized access to the Halo Universe.
