    Halo: The Master Chief Collection audio problems on Xbox One S


    I am having trouble with in-game audio. The audio is fine on all the menus including the pause menu but when I hit resume and start playing again theres no sound. This is happening on my Xbox One S not on a PC! I keep searching for answers online but all
    i find are PC focused forums so i have decided to ask on here in case anyone can give me an answer. I’ve done the whole Chat thing with other gamers on here but none of their advice has helped. Ive tried everything at this point. I have my xbox set up for
    automatic updates and so i have a hunch that this issue is related to the latest update my console must’ve initiated automatically. Everything was fine about a month or two ago. Again this is a problem I’m experiencing on my Xbox One S NOT on a PC! Ive reset
    my xbox, reset my internet, uninstalled and reinstalled halo, etc just like recommended...and still nothing. Any suggestions?

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    Halo ODST for the Xbox One is an Add-On for the Master Chief Collection. you must own that in order to play it.

    When you fire up the Master Chief Collection, you should be able to start a campaign (under Halo 3) for ODST.
