    Are you registered on Halo Waypoint? If so you can see some of your service record there and it will confirm what your rank is. The support forums may also be able to help.

    Are you on Xbox One Backwards Compatible or 360?

    If I remember correctly, you can check what your status is somewhere online. Try Halo Waypoint as Morsey suggested.
