    Halo Reach: Noble Map Pack isn't free like the other DLC's


    The DLC's for the Halo games on Xbox 360 were recently made free, except for Halo: Reach's Noble map pack. I was wondering if it is a mistake and if it will be free soon.

    today i downloaded the Noble map pack for halo reach. But wenn i go to Multiplayer mode and then DLC there isnt any Noble map pack mode....

    So how can i play at the noble map pack.

    Yes you need both maps packs to play those playlists. If he already has purchased the Defiant Map Pack, he needs the Noble Map Pack. That is also DLC to Halo Reach. Once you purchase that, you can play those playlists :)

    All you need is to be an Xbox live gold member, there's no extra codes required.

    It's like Halo 3 where you can edit the maps, but the new editing system is much better and easier to use.

    There are two map packs, the defiant one has two multi-player maps and one Firefight one. The Noble map pack has three multi-player map packs, and in my opinion has the best maps available for the game. Although, Defiant is very good too.

    There have been two Map Packs released for Halo Reach, Noble and Defiant. Do you have both? If you do not have the Noble pack as well, you will receive the message you are receiving.

    The three map packs for Halo: Reach,
    Noble    ,
    Defiant    , and
    Anniversary    , are completely optional for Matchmaking. You do not need them to play Matchmaking.



    However, some playlists, such as the Anniversary Playlist, are restricted to be available to only player who have a certain Map Pack or multiple. The description of the playlist will explain what map packs are needed, if any. Most playlists can still use
    the map packs even if they are not needed to play in it.
