HALO Reach - Doesn't see the game as installed

Discus and support HALO Reach - Doesn't see the game as installed in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I installed Reach from the Microsoft store.     HALO Reach - Doesn't see the game as installed


    I installed Reach from the Microsoft store. When I go to the store it says that I installed this product but it does not show up in the list of games. I tried starting it from the Master Chief collection and I get an error message that says the game is
    not installed. It takes me back to the store which says it's installed. I'm stuck in a an endless loop.

    Suggestions?

    I have MCC installed. I installed Reach from the Windows Store.

    What I've been doing is deleting it and reinstalling it. It works one time on resume play then it goes back to the not installed error message when I re-open it from MCC campaign list and try to resume.

    It's a pain.

    It's a part of the Master Chief Collection, as an add-on, so you'll need to install the Master Chief Collection and access it from there. It's not a stand-alone title.

    Did you install via the Windows 10 Store or Steam or for Xbox?

    Try install it from Manage a game menu in game list for Halo MCC. You will see all content and DLC try reinstall it from there.

    in some cases as with call of duty: modern warfare you may have to go into the xbox store and physically type in halo reach, finding the add-on content.

    Question about a scatched game disc.

    It's defiantly worth a try seeing as installing the game to your hard drive as it worked for me with Halo: Reach before, If installing it to your hard drive doesn't work then you will need to get your disc cleaned however if it is a laser burn it might still
    not work after it has been cleaned.
