Would you play a Halo MMORPG if it existed?

Halo was the game that got XBOX onto the map, not the PC gaming world. Why would PC gamers get a game like that before Xbox gamers? Especially when it would "eventually" make its way to the console.

I'm not sure if you know about this, but a Halo MMO was already in development a few years ago, and the project was trashed. I think a game like that would have to be PERFECT so that it didn't tarnish the reputation Halo has built. It would be very hard
to make a game like Halo into an MMO.

Buy Destiny or wait for Halo 5?

They are very different games, destiny is more similar to a MMO and halo has multiplayer maps.

I would get destiny and pick up halo when you have some more money.

 

Nope. Halo made it's mark being just what it is, a solid shooter. Destiny set itself apart as something unique. I personally don't want to see a "Halo-Destiny" knockoff. I feel like that'd cheapen the experience. Also the MMO space in general is getting
spread too thin. Some MMOs shouldn't even be MMOs. I'm looking at you ESO.

 

I already have the Halo MMO. It's called multiplayer with Gold.

Besides, MMOs are... bleh, at most. Most start off as FTP, but are really PTW. Free to play, but pay to win. Sure, you can play, but to really get the experience of the game, to be able to do anything, have to pay. Or, have to pay monthly recurring fees
to play. I spend $100 for the game, pay for Gold, and then have to pay more per month? Thanks, but no. Sure, I enjoy gaming, and know that it costs to play, but there is a point where it gets to be too much.

 

Nope, but what I would love, is for 343 to finally give us a Halo RPG! Something like Mass Effect, but you're a basically a new Spartan 4. You go thru initial training, and are now in the pipeline. Arc it to a trilogy, that piggy backs off the Halo FPS
games, and boom!!! You have diversity Halo!

 

If it was like Destiny then now I wouldn't, Destiny and Halo are their own games and it should stay like that IMO.
