    Why is Halo MCC the only game that is not Xbox Play Anywhere? I already purchased it once on Xbox but can't play it on PC.

    If it was a Play Anywhere game, it wouldn't matter, but unfortunately Halo: MCC is not Play Anywhere.

    Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC) is not an Xbox Play Anywhere game because it was released before the program was introduced by Microsoft. Xbox Play Anywhere allows players to purchase a game once and play it on both Xbox and PC, but it is only available for games that have been specifically designated as part of the program. Halo MCC was released in 2014, Xbox Play Anywhere was announced in 2016 and Halo MCC has not yet been added to the program.

    currently only halo wars one and two, halo infinite are part of xbox play anywhere.

    i believe halo mcc isn't xbox play anywhere so that means you need to buy the game or buy gamepass to play it on pc
