Halo MCC on PC - Offline Play requiring already downloaded DLC

I am having an issue trying to play MCC offline.

I need to set my PC to Airplane mode, since I'm in the Navy and soon I will be out to sea with absolutely no internet connection at all.

I am trying to get Halo MCC to work offline to play while I'm out there.

I purchased the game this last weekend and downloaded the DLCs for all titles. I can play every game just fine when connected to the internet. When I set my PC to Airplane mode and go back into the game, it will now say I need to download the DLC for every title and attempt to redirect me to the Microsoft store. Even if I play title, exit the game, set Airplane mode, then re-enter without restarting, it will tell me I need to download the DLC.

I've tried downloading the Xbox app to set my account to Offline mode, and I cannot find it on PC, and there is no where to set offline mode inside the game.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

EDIT:

So when I start the game while connected to online, and then start a title, and then go to my home screen and turn on Airplane mode, it will tell me I am not connected to the region it believes I should be, but it will let me continue the game, and start any other title I want even at the last save I had while connected to the internet.

However, if I close MCC and reopen it while still in Airplane mode, it will then give me the above issue...even though I was just playing it while on Airplane mode.

Ah alright.

So if I remove the anti cheat will it work offline? I have absolutely no plans to play online.

Or am I screwed here? Should I buy the game on Steam?

well i disconnected my PC and then i started the steam version up and i was able to play. worth investigating if that is the best option.

Who in their right might thought that’d be a good idea to make it mandatory to have internet to play halo mcc in single player. Why can’t it save my stats on the pc just like the console does. I could understand if I’d be using one account to play halo on different PCs but that’s not the case for me and for a lot of other unhappy people who are shaking their heads at Microsoft. I paid for and own the game (so it says) but can’t play single player campaign unless I “check-in” when I open the game. I get internet through my phone but no WiFi so I’m starring at a screen saying “Halo DLC Required. Halo is not installed. Would you like to visit the Microsoft store?” Id like to see the **** who thought this up get fired. He’s got nothing smart to contribute and has done nothing but piss paying customers people off. I hope he reads this, Worthless POS. straight BS.

I hope Microsoft makes a patch to over come this issue or makes a version to download that’s not dependent on internet. Otherwise I wasted time and money. Thanks Microsoft, you rock!!! Keep up the good work at making bad decisions!!! Retards.

No as you need to be synced to waypoint it's not just for online play it's for ingame items even the steam version would require waypoint most games have an online portal

There is very few titles in recent memory that isnt connected with an online portal unless you look for small 3rd party games but even then you miss out of certain things

Mcc dlc is connected online not just to your disks.you still download from waypoint your games along with updates including cards
