    Halo MCC: Combat Evolved - The Maw (XB1 Freezes)


    I have been trying to finish the last level on CE, The Maw, and XB1 repeatedly freezes in the final section of the last mission. If I try to run, it freezes, if I don't, the games plays a clip where the Pillar of Autumn is destroyed.

    Later, I saw that my timer for 6 minutes doesn't start, it just reads 00 00 00 and keeps on flashing. When Cortana stops speaking, the game freezes or shows the said clip.

    Can anyone help?

    Does Xbox one allow 3D

    Are you possibly confusing Halo: MCC with the Halo:CE Anniversary edition from Xbox 360? For the MCC they specifically removed 3D support from Halo:CEA. 3D support was only available in the Xbox 360 version of that game. In other words:

    Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (Xbox 360): had 3D support

    Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (part of Halo:MCC): did not have 3D support

    Additionally, I can't find mention of any Xbox One games currently which have 3D features. The console does support 3D blu-ray, and it would be able to support 3D gaming, but no publishers are investing in 3D effects nowadays.

    Don't listen to these guys. You should play Halo: Reach BEFORE playing Halo: Combat Evolved if you want to play them in chronological order of the story timeline. Halo: Reach is a direct prequel to Combat Evolved. Combat Evolved picks up IMMEDIATELY where
    Reach ends.

    Having the same issue. Countdown timer is zero. As soon as cortana stops talking, game freezes. Have tried using a different disc, etc. No help. Hope MSFT takes notice here and fixes the issue.
