halo mcc 'active profile signed out' and cant play

i have an xbox series s.

i have been playing halo mcc for the past 2 months and everything was fine.

however ever since last week i cant play for more than 3 minutes stright before im returned to the main menu with the messege "active profile signed out".

i deleted the game to redownloaded it from game pass but it didnt work and i continue to get this messege, please assist.

I've been having the same problems for a week now and can't seem to find any solutions online. This is what I've heard from 343...

"Ah, thank you for the screenshot, that is indeed the behavior we're seeing from a small amount of users.

We currently do not have a solution for the issue you are experiencing, but will keep you updated if one becomes available.

In the meantime, you should be able to at least play Halo: The Master Chief Collection single player.
In case you didn't know, Halo: The Master Chief Collection allows you to play Campaign and Custom Games in split-screen and LAN co-op and multiplayer in offline mode, which should allow you limited access to the title.
You can access this setting by navigating from the Main Menu to Options & Career > Settings > Network Tab > Network: Change XBOX LIVE to LAN, click the Back button at the bottom left > Save Settings

I realize this is not a fix or long-term solution.
Please let us know if either the above does not work, or if your issue no longer occurs at any point."


This is not helpful. I'm pretty disappointed cause I'm a casual player and don't have time for stuff like this.

 

I think I figured it out. I reset my microsoft account password, and then when I went to log on to xbox it prompted me to put in the new password. I haven't run into the account glitch ever since. Hope this helps!
