    Halo matchmaking career K/D?


    Hello all.

    i've been wondering how the matchmaking career works in this game?

    I am a pretty big Halo 3 mp player. Not very interested in Halo 2. Halo 4 is quite alright.

    When i complete a game in Halo 3 multiplayer playlist, my stats aren't being saved. Yet if i am not wrong they did when i was playing Swat? And ofcourse when i play the only ranked playlist H2A they do save aswell.

    The strange thing is that i have seen people with over 1000 kills on their career page. But they are only rank 1. As i am rank 8 and only with around 450 kills. This because i mostly just play Halo 3.

    Can anyone give me an explanation how the career Mp system works please?

    Ah yes, your so excellent with the DMR that you have:

    0.78 k/d ratio with DMR in competitive matchmaking

    0.6 k/d ratio with DMR in Invasion

    0.57 k/d ratio with DMR in Arena

    Personally, i don't think your stats reflect your excellence.

    I have:

    2.97 k/d ratio with DMR in competitive

    8.41 k/d ratio with DMR in Invasion

    1.59 k/d ratio with DMR in Arena

    I don't even play Halo: Reach much and don't consider myself a great player, but the stats would imply i am better at using the DMR than you.

    DJHa1fway. I appreciate the congrats. I don't plan to stop playing Reach anytime soon. I am trying to raise my K/D even more than it is now, I am trying to achieve 100,000 multiplayer matchmaking kills and I am trying to raise my commendations. There is
    ALWAYS something to do in Halo: Reach. LOL

    Game developers need to come up with a better multiplayer system.

    It seems to me that many of the Popular MP shooters would not be so popular anymore if they actually had a skill based matchmaking system like Halo has. A lot of people with inflated K/D ratios would not be happy playing against people who have the same
    trueskill as them.

    Please, stop worrying about your K/D ratio and focus on the objective!

    I'm sure some would, but I would like to think that if I joined a play list entirely of objective game types, the majority of the people would help with the objective and maybe I wouldn't be running out alone after a flag or whatever..

    If the people with high K/Ds were any good, they wouldn't have to farm kills in objective games.... There is no way for another player to see ure K/D without going to a website with all that stuff on it & typing in each players name... If u click a persons
    name, then service record, then career, then matchmaking, it will show how many kills & deaths u have but not the pretty little K/D number and there is no way anyone cares enough or has enough time to check everyone each match

    No one knows ure K/D unless u tell them... then we still don't care.. and u might be lying cause I ain't gonna check

    Guess what.. I got a 9.77 K/D... of course that's firefight

    The melee needs a serious fix.

    Well guys. 50 hours is nothing like 5 hours. And since everyone seems to think K/D ratio makes you credible in the halo universe as to what is balanced and what is not. I have a 1.64 K/D ratio in Halo 3 and ranked 46. My Halo 2 ranks are even better than
    that, and my Reach is 1.36 K/D, and right now my Halo 4 after 1 hr and 45 mins getting used to the new game is 1.23 K/D. I say everything is pretty good right now. I'm gonna play more after work.
