Halo Master Chief Collection. This one will make you want a PS5

Neither clearing my MAC address or hard resetting my console worked. Still tells me I need game pass to run a game I’ve owned forever.. come on now

It is related to the system of checks the console does to decide ownership..unfortunately, "having Game Pass" is higher up the list than "owning"...so it stops at the Game Pass checkbox and doesn't continue. The solution posted above by the IA should resolve this

Clean your console's MAC, reboot when prompted, and then try playing again.

Network Settings> Advanced Settings> MAC Address and Clear

If the problem still persists follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.
In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>
Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.

Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
One to be able to download the game.
