    Halo Master Chief Collection on Windows 11


    Hi - I've been having issues since upgrading to Windows 11 (currently 22H2 - build no 22621.1105) with Halo MCC.

    The game will download but nothing is playable as I'm unable to download the 10MB license files to unlock the games. They just fail to download from gamepass (I have ultimate) or the Microsoft store.

    So far I have tried the following:

    Rebooted the PC

    Made sure Windows and drivers are updated

    Made sure both Xbox and gaming services apps are up to date

    Made sure both Xbox app and the store are signed in with the same account

    As the game was installed from the xbox app, uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled via the store instead (I was told this was a fix)

    Uninstalled and reinstalled gaming services via Powershell

    Still, the game downloads everything but leaves me in the same situation where I can navigate the menus in the game but not launch any of them. My Windows 10 friends can run all the Halo games with no issues.

    I am at a loss as to what to try next.
