    Halo Master Chief collection installed but game cant find file location


    As title says I have entire master chief collection installed and playing as of yesterday and then the new "gaming services" update today caused me to have to troubleshoot the game again for 3 hours, one method of which I went to the Master chief app its self in "Add or remove programs" and repaired aswell as reset the game, now the xbox game pass app for PC does not show the game despite I have the 180 gigabyte file in the D:\WindowsApps folder where it installs all other games, there is no option for me to locate a game file it will only force me to install the game again, how ever when I do open the game directly through the launcher the game says I don't have the games installed when i clearly do

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    You have to have Halo The Master Chief Collection installed on your console as the game Halo Reach was an add on for that game collection.

    HALO 3 is a bundled game wherein you will be needing to install the base game of Halo: The Master Chief Collection that's why it requires a 159.76GB file size. You can't install HALO 3 standalone since it's the next installment in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
