Im wondering if an xbox card says "Xbox Live Halo: Master Chief Collection Gold Membership - 3 months + 1 month" can you spend the membership on other games apart from master chief collection?

I also can't get the code to redeem via Xbox one or the website...

 

Same here, I was advised it was because I didn't have a payment method on file, which seem strange since it's supposed to be a free month. Anyway, I tried again with a payment method on file, and it still doesn't work. Error code Xbos-0x80169CF9. Any ideas?
