Discus and support Halo: Master Chief Collection - EAC Disabled, won't launch individual campaigns in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I've installed Halo: Master Chief Collection.     Halo: Master Chief Collection - EAC Disabled, won't launch individual campaigns


    I've installed Halo: Master Chief Collection. I have (2) issues:

    1. EAC enabled mode won't start - MCCWinStore-Win64-Shipping.exe - Application Error - unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). I've submitted a ticket to the EAC site. EAC is installed properly, validated by checking both URLs listed there: "200 - HTTP OK"

    2. EAC disabled mode - campaigns won't start, each campaign selected prompts GAME NAME 'Required' GAME NAME 'is not installed. Install now?'

    However, after selecting 'YES' - when I search XBox Games all are "Insalled" when installing the collection.

    So, what's up with that?

    Additional information is needed, please answer the following questions to assist you properly:

    Is this happening on Windows 11 or 10?
    Is this happening with the steam or Xbox app/Microsoft store game version?
    Do you have active an antivirus in your PC?
    Do you have a hardware component overclocked?
    Did you tried to reinstall EAC to see if that helps?
    And what did you tried so far to fix this problem, in that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    We appreciate for your prompt response and providing the information we ask. In addition to our previous inquiries we would also like to know what type of hard drive you are using? The issue could be possible due to the wrong drive. Please check the game if it is installed on the correct hard drive and let us know.
