Halo Infinite transfer

Hi,

I recently purchased a Xbox Series S console. I did some research and found that I can transfer my games from my old Xbox One to my new Series S console.

I found the instructions online how to do that and followed them step by step.

I had the transfer going wirelessly and when it completed I went to load Halo Infinite and it would it appeared to crash upon trying to load. A few seconds later i got notified that there was a 31 GB update for halo which i know there is'nt

I went to my games and it was not listed. So i plugged both consoles in and completed the transfer via wired connection. This time the game showed in the "My Games" section so I launched it. A few seconds later it appeared to crash followed by the update notification again.

What am i missing? Or is this a known issue when trying to transfer a game.

I own the game via digital content.

Hey L4c3rd4,

Halo infinite was the only game I transferred. Not playing anything else at this time.

After deleting are you asking me to redownload front the store or re-transfer?

Thanks for helping get a work around.

I am however interested in knowing what caused the game not to load in the first place.

Something appears to be broken with the data transfer, or it is not designed for transfer digitally owned games.

Uninstalled and redownloading now. My internet is awful so I was hoping to avoid this

Well first you need to download the patch are you forgetting the smart delivery update ?

Smart delivery is designed to download the correct version for your console

In this case series s

Optimized for the hdd space you do have

So you got the series s upgrade not the HD series x upgrade which is a good thing since you have hdd space limitation
